WhatIf

Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-05-25 · Last updated: 2026-05-25

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WhatIf software (the "Service"), an internal-use automated short-form video production pipeline operated by the WhatIf operator (the "Operator"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

WhatIf is a self-hosted production pipeline that generates educational short-form videos on historical "what if" topics in Vietnamese and publishes them to social media accounts owned by the Operator, including TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The Service runs on infrastructure controlled by the Operator and is not offered as a multi-tenant SaaS product.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended exclusively for use by the Operator. It does not provide a public-facing application, signup flow, or end-user account system. No general public access is offered.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Service, the Operator agrees to:

4. Content ownership

Final videos produced by the Service are derivative works generated from prompts, AI media providers, and post-production by the Service. Where the AI media providers' licensing terms grant commercial usage rights to the Operator, those final videos are owned by the Operator. Third-party material (royalty-free music, stock visuals where used) remains the property of its licensors and is included under the licensors' respective terms.

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with the following third-party platforms and providers. Use of those integrations is subject to each provider's own terms:

The Operator is responsible for maintaining valid credentials with each provider and for complying with their rate limits and usage policies.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Operator makes no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. The Service depends on third-party APIs and may degrade or fail when those services are unavailable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to use of the Service, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

8. Indemnification

The Operator shall indemnify and hold harmless each integrated platform from claims, damages, and liabilities arising out of content the Operator publishes through the Service in violation of these Terms or any platform's terms.

9. Termination

The Operator may stop using the Service at any time. If any integrated platform suspends or revokes API access, those integrations will cease automatically; the rest of the Service may continue to operate.

10. Changes to these Terms

The Operator may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Vietnam unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
